Godwine Choir: Sure on this Shining Night

Join the Godwine Choir for a concert reflecting on memory and place, through a varied programme of folk songs, modern classics, and vivid choral writing. The programme includes well-known arrangements of Loch Lomond, The Salley Gardens, and Shenandoah, alongside Lauridsen’s Sure on this Shining Night and Copland’s I Bought Me a Cat. Whitacre’s With a Lily in Your Hand adds a dramatic edge to a wide-ranging evening of music.

The concert will run for approximately 45 minutes, with an opportunity to join the choir for a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic drink at the end.
