Turkish Style Tassel Necklace

When were looking at Turkish jewelry for our next inspiration pieces, we kept coming across these wonderful examples of tassel necklaces, some had a pendant above the tassel, some did not, so this is all up to your interpretation of what you like! The tassel uses fringe technique with beading thread, the bezel is a simple peyote stitch with Fireline, and the necklace is strung on beading stringing wire. For the class sample below, we used:
- 11° seed beads in two colors
- 4mm bicones in two colors
- Metal spacers, various: 3mm & 4mm daisy, and 4mm saucer
- 6x8mm teardrop beads
- Bead cap
- 8mm gemstones in two colors
- Metal beads
- Jump rings 2pc
- Bead tips and crimps, or wire guards/crimps (up to you)
- Clasp
