The GTOA Football Officials Camp will be July 11th and 12th at Broken Arrow High School. GTOA member registration and Camp registration is open. To guarantee lunch on Saturday and the gift you must register for the camp before July 3rd. You can register for both at tulsaofficials.com or use the links below. We are making some changes to camp this year in an effort to keep information fresh, so we are trying some new ideas. Here are some new things about camp you should know:
1) You can get credit for the OSSAA State Meeting by attending camp. David Gore and Ethan Rolen will conduct an OSSAA State Meeting at 5:30pm on Friday July 11th. You can see more information on the attached agenda.
2) At 7:00pm on Friday July 11th we will have a time to recognize and celebrate our 2025 GTOA Hall of Fame inductees. This year we have two Hall of Fame inductees. Harold Alspaugh and Erik Herring. Please join us for this very special time to congratulate and recognize these two gentlemen as we induct them into the GTOA Hall of Fame.
3) As a GTOA Member you will receive a local meeting credit for each day you attend the camp. You must be registered and signed in to receive credit. If you can only attend one of the two days, you will receive credit for one local meeting. If you attend both days, you will receive credit for two local meetings. Remember you must attend four local meetings and an OSSAA State Meeting to be a member in good standing.
4) You will have a choice of 6 different classroom sessions to attend. You will attend 4 classroom sessions over the two-day period. You can choose which 4 interest you and your crew most. See the attached class listing for more information about which class you want to attend.
5) The on the field training will be on Saturday morning. We will be in the indoor practice facility at Broken Arrow. There will not be any players present, but you will rotate through each session. This will give you an opportunity to learn in smaller groups and ask questions from instructors.
6) The Officials Locker will be present at different times throughout the camp to help you with uniforms, study guides or whatever you may need to get ready for the season.
Our first GTOA Meeting is next Monday July 7th. Football season is here. Get registered for camp and start making plans. We are excited about the changes at camp this year and we look forward to the feedback you provide when the camp is over. The Camp Agenda is attached. The agenda is subject to change.
