Kids Creative Workshop: 'A Day at the Seaside Mini Zine' (Ages 5-11)

Celebrate summer by creating your very own mini zine inspired by a day at the seaside!

Join local Children's author-illustrator Rachel Tilda Wolf for this joyful, hands-on workshop where children will design, write, and illustrate their own miniature booklet using drawing, collage, and storytelling prompts.

Perfect for creative kids who love to imagine, draw and share their ideas — no experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and seaside spirit!

🎨 All materials provided🪑 Spaces are limited – booking essential.

Need to know info about the event and venue:

〰 Suitable for children aged 5 - 11

〰 Event duration: 60 minutes

〰 Ticket price is £5 per child - booking is essential

〰 Additional information: the bookshop is on the 1st floor up a flight of stairs; children will be stood around a crafting table, and will be provided with equipment including washable colouring pencils/crayons/pens depending on their age and ability. There are a couple of seats for adults who wish to attend with their children, otherwise adults will be expected to stand and watch (and join in if they like), or enjoy a lovely coffee and pastry downstairs in STAPLE.
