Calling Morar/Mallaig/Arisaig/Lochaber locals! Have you seen Morag? Heard the tales? Got a story about the mysterious loch?
Flagstone Theatre are delighted to be creating Beastie — a wild new solo show about Highland monsters, set in and around Loch Morar. Thanks to Creative Scotland’s Open Fund, we are excited to fully develop the production, which will premiere in Edinburgh this September.
We’re recording short interviews with locals to help bring Morag’s legend to life on stage. These stories will inspire actor-performed monologues, featured in the show’s soundscape. We’d love for you to be involved in creating an exciting new piece of Scottish theatre!
✅ Seen something strange?
✅ Heard a family legend?
✅ Got an opinion on the whole monster business?
We want to hear from you — believers, skeptics, and everyone in between.
