11am - 1pm - Progressive Workshop: extending on from the SILC Fundamental syllabus, the Progressive workshop will explore the 2 additional SILC techniques. Suitable for dancers who have already covered the Fundamentals syllabus.
Workshop Focus - Intentional Movement:
Good communication requires clarity. In this progressive-level SILC workshop, we’ll explore how using your body instead of just your arms will elevate your connection with your partner and ultimately your dancing. This workshop will help you:
-Build confidence in your own movements.
-Develop a comfortable frame that allows for clear communication
-Use your core and posture to lead with subtlety and purpose
-Make movements feel clearer, smoother and more natural.
1.15pm - 4.15pm - SILC Afternoon Freestyle - put all your new techniques in to practice at our SILC freestyle after the workshop. This should be booked separately to the workshop.
Complimentary tea, coffee and sweet treats included in the ticket price.
