Playwright Robert Harling honors his sister with this award-winning story about mothers, daughters, and friends. In the cast, Truvy Jones will be played by Mary Ellis Glymph, M’Lynn Eatenton by Shannon Bolick, Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie by Maddi Rimer, Annelle Dupuy-Desoto by Abby Grace Brotherton, Clairee Belcher by Carla Richards, and Ouiser Boudreaux by Kim Mays. Join these women as they bond and banter at the beauty parlor over relationships – their own and others, as well as family, challenges, and tragedy, through tears and laughter.
Both hilarious and heartfelt, Steel Magnolias will be directed by Kenn Naegele, most recently director of Theatre Bristol’s Oklahoma!, Elf The Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and ANNIE.
Director Kenn Naegele is supported by stage manager Beverly Moody, assistant stage manager Carly Street, costume designer Adriel Slaughter, props artisan Rebecca Ryan, technician Albert Tester, and producer Samantha Gray.
Tickets are $16, and $12 for seniors and students, with processing fees, and will be available online and, pending available seating, at the door 30 minutes prior to showtime.
