Prenatal Pelvic Prehab - Workshops for Pregnancy
Movement for a happier pelvis during pregnancy and birth
Join us for monthly sessions designed specifically to help you feel more comfortable as your body changes and to help you prepare for birth.
So much is focussed on squeezes and fixed movements for specific stages of labour. These sessions are more about helping you find the small shifts that can make big changes as you adapt to pregnancy and help you tune into your body so you can feel more confident in what you need to do in labour.
Most women I have met over the past 15+ years haven't known much about their pelvic floor until they were actually pregnant. It's OK, you don't need to have any special prior knowledge. These sessions are designed to give you a monthly exploration of movement that can help;
• keep you moving through pregnancy
• adapt to changes
• learn about your pelvic muscles
• prepare for birth.
This is not a pregnancy yoga class (but I am a fully qualified yoga teacher). I'll share with you a load of stuff I learnt after having my second baby, 7+ years into teaching when I learnt the hard way that it's not all about kegels or squeezing.
Suitable for all stages, but especially good if you are in 2nd or 3rd trimester.
