Spread out the picnic, soak up the warmth of the summer sun over Narragansett Bay, and enjoy a variety of musical performances by local musicians. Wednesday nights at Blithewold are the perfect way to enjoy summer with friends and family!
Guests are encouraged to bring picnic dinners and chairs or blankets. We have 33 acres of gardens and grounds, including a 10-acre lawn, where you can enjoy the music and gorgeous views over the bay.

Due to limited space in our parking area, preregistration is required. Parking and Check-in open at 5 PM.

ABOUT THE BAND:
Accomplished singer/songwriter Colby James has consistently earned an outstanding reputation as one of the area’s hardest working, multi-talented vocalists/guitarists to appear on the live stage. At an early age, Colby James fell in love with the guitar after hearing his father play. Confident that he began to develop and perfect his own vocal style, he then set out to sharpen his guitar skills until he was ready to play for anyone who would listen.
Today, and for the past 16 years, both as a solo artist and as the headliner for his own band, Colby James has been delivering his searing and soulful style to audiences at popular venues throughout the region. In his own humble and grateful words, “I have been blessed to write my own music, make a couple records, play at some of the best dive bars and listening rooms, and I have been fortunate to have shared the same stage with some of my favorite artists.”
