An Intimate Evening of Celtic Folk Music at the Folklore Rooms.

Our Headliner, Cara Elin a whimsical whirlwind from South Wales. Through her songs, she brings to life the darkest tales of the Mabinogion, painting pictures of misty mountain tops and tylwyth teg.

Cathail and Smitherman, usually one half of the local folk band Far Darrig, are united in love and respect for traditional music from across our Atlantic Isles. This duo project together brings the music back to pure basics, and offers a more intimate side of the music that inspires them. Expect compositions of traditional songs reimagined and original verses that revive the folk-revival.

Teharli River is a folk duo consisting of Hayley McDonnell and Timothy Beckett. With harmonies that compliment each others voice and a mix of acoustic guitar and mandolin, their sound and storytelling will leave you wanting more. They share a charming stage presence, creating a wholesome, beautiful atmosphere during their live shows.
