Body Jam – Freeform Dance & Movement (Sunday Session)

Join us for Body Jam — a welcoming freeform dance and movement experience in Brighton, MI.
This is a space to move however you need to — no choreography, no pressure, no judgment. Just music, motion, and the freedom to show up as you are.

Inspired by the spirit of ecstatic dance, Body Jam offers a space for full-spectrum expression: from stillness to sweat, laughter to release. Some people dance, some stretch, some rest or breathe. All movement is welcome here.

🧡 No experience necessary. All ages, all bodies, and all abilities are welcome.
🔒 Agreements for the Space

To support a grounded and intentional environment, we ask that all participants honor the following:

🚫 No talking on the dance floor

📵 No phones or filming

❌ No substances

💗 No judgment — just presence, freedom, and movement

🗓️ Sunday Schedule

📍 Michelle’s Academy of Dance – 101 Appian Way, Suite 102, Brighton MI

🌀 Doors open: 10:45am

🌟 Opening Circle: 11:00am (please arrive early to sign in and settle)

🎶 Freeform Movement: immediately after circle

🫶 Closing Circle: final 10–15 minutes

💰 Sliding Scale Donation: $8–$25

Cash preferred. No one turned away for lack of funds.
