Rest is more than just sleep. It forms the foundation of physical health, emotional stability, and mental clarity. Yet, many of us find it difficult to switch off - our bodies may be still, but our minds keep racing.
Yoga Nidra, sometimes called “yogic sleep,” provides a gateway to true rest. Practised lying down with closed eyes, it guides the body into a state of profound relaxation while the mind remains suspended between wakefulness and sleep. Research indicates that Yoga Nidra lowers stress, improves sleep quality, reduces anxiety, and boosts creativity and concentration.

This event is part of Brighton Wellness Festival: a city-wide celebration of holistic health and wellbeing, taking place 1–8 October 2025. Powered by a year-round community of wellness practitioners, BWF exists to promote authentic, inclusive and grounded wellness across Brighton and beyond.
