The City of Ladies @ Brighton Fringe!

Two muses. One 15th Century French widow. Absolutely loads of women. After a sold-

out night at Camden People’s Theatre The City of Ladies lands at the Rotunda Dome for

Brighton Fringe this May!

The City of Ladies is an off-beat comedy exploring the radical ladies of the past through

puppetry drag and special hats. Join ladies Rectitude and Reason two of the three

muses (Justice is on a wicked comedown) as they help 15th Century writer Christine de

Pizan to imagine a city constructed and populated exclusively by women.

This is NOT a flip project for the patch of land out back but a necessary act of social

justice and restoration for the sanctity and peace of women everywhere. But what does

it actually mean to be a lady? Who gets to decide? And does it require a special sort of

hat?
