This FREE event will kick off the weekend with MT MAZE performing live from 6-9pm, setting the stage for an epic few days ahead.
Mt. Maze are a handful of tradies from Albury, NSW, who linked up for a jam over a few beers and have been playing together ever since. Their different tastes, backgrounds and common love of music has shaped the sound that is Mt. Maze.
2023/24 saw Mt. Maze playing shows spanning from Hobart all the way up to Newcastle, opening for numerous Aussie powerhouses such as The Rubens, Kingswood, Smith Street band, Trophy Eyes, Dear Seattle, Press Club and British India.
After their first headline tour in 2024 to promote their EP Creatures, their next EP title Demons (June 27th) is sure to pack just as much of a punch with powerful lyrics, intricate guitar lines and a drum and bass section that will get you shuffling your feet.
Our bar will be offering drinks at regular prices, plus we’ll be open for meals until 8:30pm so you can stay for dinner or a quick bite as well.
This event isn’t just for Darker Days ticket holders – it’s open to the public, so whether you’re attending the festival or not, round up your mates and come be a part of the vibrant festival atmosphere.
