During Teen Coding Club: Build Games & Brainpower, teens ages 13-18 will learn to code their own games, animations, and interactive stories using Microsoft MakeCode—a user-friendly, block-based coding app. Each session includes collaborative challenges and self-paced projects designed to boost executive functioning, planning, and visual reasoning.
No prior coding experience required—just bring your curiosity and your own device (Windows or Mac laptop or tablet)! This group builds digital confidence, focus, and creativity through hands-on coding in a supportive setting led by an occupational therapist. Each session takes place in the Great Space, providing a comfortable and collaborative environment for learning and creativity.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to drop off participants for this group, as it is designed to support independent engagement and peer interaction.
