FREE THE SHELTER 2025!

Mayday! Our shelter is completely full of wonderful pets to adopt! We need your help to get them all into wonderful homes.

The Cathy Kangas Foundation is back to sponsor FREE THE SHELTER, the open-house adoption event where approved adopters adopt their new best friend at no cost. It's a FREE-BEE!

The best thing? All pets still get the standard adoption package, spay/neuter, 2 vaccinations, and a microchip before going home (pets do not go home same-day).

So on Friday May 30th and Saturday May 31st, it's all-hands-on-deck for BAC from 10am-3pm as we welcome approved adopters to visit and meet and greet with all of our adoptables- no appointment needed*.

*adoption application and processing still applies. You may apply in-person same-day, or send application ahead of the event.

Just ask our many Free the Shelters alumni...they'll tell you that this event was a great way to discover, meet, and adopt their new best friend!
