Democracy vs. Fascism: A Workshop For Building Local Resistance

Are we sleepwalking into authoritarianism? Or fascism? How can you tell? Join us for this timely workshop which we first led at Civics 101 back in September!

Now that we are 150 days into the Trump administration, what can we know for sure about the state of our national democracy?

This workshop will define what democracy and fascism (and everything in between) while comparing the two and giving historical and current examples. Most importantly, we will provide participants with tools to strengthen democracy and resist fascism.
