Budget & Appropriations Committee Meeting

The purpose of the Budget & Appropriations Committee of the Bridgeport City Council is to provide fiscal accountability of our public taxpayer dollars. This Committee also oversees the review and approval of the Mayor's proposed budget annually, in April and May.


The 2024 - 2025 Budget & Appropriations Committee Members are:

Ernest Newton, Co-Chair, 139th District
Jeanette Herron, 133rd District
AmyMarie Vizzo-Pannicia, 134th District
Richard Ortiz, 136th District
Mary McBride-Lee, 135th District
Fred Hodges, 136th District


The B & A Committee meets in-person on the second Monday of every month. Currently, there is no livestream or video recording of City Council Committee meetings available.
