What is it?
This retreat day is about gathering together, to share, experience, to nourish our bodies, minds and souls. Allowing ourselves space to explore, relax and connect can be the change we need to see and feel in our own lives.
Where is it? Ogmore-by-sea is the perfect setting for our day retreat as we connect to the sea and sky our gathering.
Description
Retreat day 10.30am- 4.30pm
10.30am -Arrive and clear energies with optional smudging. Opening circle and intention setting.
11.30am- Movement (Qigong/Qi-yoga) Incorporating; grounding, shaking, tapping, opening meridian channels, healing sounds, chanting.
12.30pm- 1.30pm - lunch overlooking the sea. ( Bring your own or from the café)
1.30pm- Afternoon gathering; women’s circle- Incorporating; active listening journaling, oracle cards, sharing circle.
2.30pm- Movement and music- Time to re-awaken the mind, body and spirit with a movement practice.
3.15pm- Sound Healing and meditation- Kerry will guide you through a sound journey and meditation.
4pm- Closing circle.
4.30pm- Here ends the session. After the session has finished, you may however like to have a swim in the sea or walk on the beach. This is not part of the retreat session, but might be nice way to leave the space if you have time.
(Times are just a guide for the day, However, start and finish times remain fixed).
What to bring
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and cushion. A water bottle and lunch.

About your group leader.
Kerry Sanson is a seasoned holistic therapist, personal trainer, movement specialist, and musician with 26 years’ experience. Kerry’s educational background includes an MSc in Health Psychology, and she has been an Instructor of Spring Forest Qigong since 2015 and White Tiger Qigong since 2022.
In 2022, she published her first book, ‘The Book of Health Hacks,’ a comprehensive collection of forty tried and tested health-boosting regimes. Operating a thriving private studio, Kerry conducts workshops and retreats, guiding clients on health, nutrition, fitness, breathing, and relaxation. Since April 2023, Kerry has been a Lead Practitioner and Retreat Coordinator at The Dreaming Retreat Centre, bringing with her a wealth of holistic health knowledge to enhance the transformative experiences offered.
