Launch Brentwood's new creative strategy with us! 'A Place For Culture' is the borough's new culture strategy that has been created from ideas and voices from creatives, residents and young people from across Brentwood. Join us over a glass of wine for a social and creative evening to find out a little bit more from its producers The NO Collective.
* Find out about how the strategy was made & and meet some of its producers
* See how your input in research has led to data which can be used to form creative waves
* Get the lowdown on three new strategy commissions for artists, organisations and producers
* Network and explore the FULL strategy over a glass of wine and some nibbles
* Enjoy some light creative entertainment to get your creative juices flowing
Attend to be in the know, and for wellbeing and fun with other local creatives. This session is partly funded by Brentwood Borough Council through UKSPF. Creatives and their mates from the edge of Essex are welcome, but there are limited places on this workshop, so please sign up to secure your place!
YAY mates = you and your mates! YAY mates is an informal group of artists and their friends from East London & the edge of Essex that is welcoming of members from here and outside of the area - with a mission to create a connection point for artists and to create projects together to improve our local cultural landscape and harness more opportunities. The YAY mates team is made up of three collaborative art organisations: Brennan & Burch, No Collective and Well Social.
