Belgium's techno legend Yves Deruyter is coming to MEZZ!
Yves Deruyter is a true pioneer in the electronic music scene, shaping the sound of the ’90s and beyond. Since his debut in 1985, he has been a defining force in Belgium’s legendary club culture, performing at iconic venues like Cherrymoon, La Rocca, and Boccaccio. His breakthrough came in 1992 with the release of “Animals,” a track that became a Belgian club anthem and launched his international career.
With legendary releases such as “The House of House,” “Rave City,” “Back to Earth,” and “The Rebel,” Yves Deruyter has left an undeniable mark on electronic music. His music has stood the test of time, with modern techno heavyweights like Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, and Peggy Gou reintroducing his classics to a new generation.
Performing at some of the world’s biggest events, including Tomorrowland, Love Parade, Nature One, and Sensation Black, Yves continues to bring his high-energy sets to dancefloors across the globe. Now leading his own label, YDR Records, he remains a driving force in the techno scene, delivering electrifying performances that blend past and present into a euphoric clubbing experience.
Joining him as support is DJ Bountyhunter, a stalwart of the Belgian electronic music scene. Known for his high-octane sets that blend old-school and techno, DJ Bountyhunter creates a dance floor experience that’s both intense and memorable.
