Broken Compass is celebrating 11 years and we are throwing a party....again! Join us for our annual anniversary party located at our OG & Brewery Taproom off Continental Ct.
Friday, June 13th we kick off the festivities at 5pm with local bluegrass band Risky Strings! Following Risky Strings is Jeremy Garrett, fiddle player and cofounder of the GRAMMY AWARD WINNING Infamous Stringdusters. Jeremy will be performing in a four piece band starting at 7pm.
Saturday, June 14th is the big day. Doors to the brewery open at 10am but if you're interested in joining our annual Mug Club for the OG Brewery & Taproom 2025-26 season then you'll need to get their early. Standard Mug Club is first come first serve and people show up early to get in line. Non VIP Mug Club members are able to join VIP Mug Club only if there is space available, and those slots are usually few and get scooped up quick.
Entry to the event is free, however if you are showing up to do some beer drinking you will need to purchase the annual Broken Compass Anniversary Party Cup. Each cup, a commemorative Klean Kanteen stainless steel pint glass with this years party logo, comes with a free beer. We have been known to serve previous years party cups if you really don't want to buy a new one but you will still need to wait in any line for proper age verification!
What better way to kick off the day than to have local DJ and party aficionado, JOMO, spin tasty tunes to set the stage!? JOMO begins at 10am. Following JOMO, at noon, is musical super group PHOTON, who is known for their dynamic compositions and upbeat dance vibes. Around 3pm the O'Connor Brothers Band take the stage. The O'Connor Brothers Band bring an upbeat, modern feel to a classic style creating a unique and gritty new roots sound that is sure to turn heads. Finally, at 6pm, to close the night out we have local rock legends, El Paso Lasso! Come jump around and sing along to your favorite hits from the late 90's and early 2000's.
This year we have a number of local vendors and food trucks helping us celebrate. If you have never been to one of our birthday party's then you definitely are in for a treat. In true ski town fashion we will be partying all day and parking is even more limited than usual. The parking lots fills up fast and there is absolutely zero parking on the street. You will get towed and that is no way to celebrate! There is a new bus stop right next to the brewery and there is no reason not to use it if you are able. Colorado Mountain College has allowed us to use their parking lot as an overflow lot as well. So please do not park on the street and please please please do not drink and drive! We are a few short weeks away and we cannot wait to throw down with our favorite people! Cheers!
