Project group meeting

St Mary’s Church has been at the heart of Weeting for over 700 years.

Now in need of large scale repairs, assisted by the Diocese the PCC have been running a community consultation exercise in a bid to launch a repair project and associated National Lottery Heritage Fund bid.

The project is not just about repairs but also modernisation of the Church:
• Practical facilities (toilets, heating, kitchen)
• Comfort and accessibility improvements
• Outdoor seating and spaces for reflection

We will be officially forming a project group consisting of
people who can help them carry out the project.

At this meeting we will reflect on the findings of the survey and begin more serious conversations about the project, this may include discussions of funding options, roles and responsibilities of group members and PCC members and next steps.
