The festival starts on Friday 12th September at 6pm. Our celebrity chefs will be cooking up a storm in the demo kitchen, there's live music till late, the oyster bar and the artisan market will be open, and there's a spectacular opening evening firework display over beautiful Loch Ryan.
Saturday 13th sees a packed programme of festivities, including the Scottish Shucking Championships, demos from our celebrity chefs Matt Tebbutt, Tony Singh, Rosemary Shrager, Julie Lin, James Morton, Ryan McCutcheon and David Alexander. There will be whisky tasting with Rock Island whisky, and talks in our new Speakers' Corner marquee.
Sunday 14th brings the Oyster Eating Championships finals, more chef demos including an all-star Sunday Oyster Kitchen, kids fun including a family friendly cookery demo with our headline sponsor Lactalis.
The story of our oysters and the marine ecology of Loch Ryan will be a big part of this year's festival, and our full marine ecology programme will be announced soon.
