At Organic Roots Schoolhouse, we believe children learn best when they are inspired by nature, guided by curiosity, and nurtured as whole people.
📍 Located in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area, we offer a nontraditional, nature-based learning environment for preschool through 5th grade. Our days are filled with outdoor exploration, hands-on projects, and meaningful academic learning — all in a safe, encouraging, and creative space.
Who We Are
We’re a small, independent Forest School where children’s voices and ideas shape their learning. Our educators combine proven teaching methods with the freedom of the outdoors, encouraging problem-solving, collaboration, and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Little Explorers (ages 3–4) – AM & PM workshops
