Wed 8/13, Intro to Tapestry Style Weaving (with take home loom)

Learn the basics of Tapestry Weaving on a frame loom. Over this workshop, you will learn to identify all the components of your loom, how to utilize basic weaving tools, creating textures & design, as well as how to warp & weft on your loom. Your teacher will guide you through all the skills needed and you will leave with your weaving still on the loom so you can finish at home & continue to re use it over and over again. There will be extra yarns available beyond the kit for flair or changing colors. This workshop will get you on the way to weaving like a pro and making larger pieces and expanding to different yarns and/ or roving.
