Braddock’s Battlefield History Center (BBHC) offers a wide variety of affordable and customizable educational programming to enhance your K-12 curriculum. We invite educators to visit our site, on the 270th anniversary of the Battle of the Monongahela (also known as Braddock’s Defeat) to learn more about the BBHC and all we have to offer!
Our Education Team will be on hand to personally discuss with you how we can enhance your district’s STEAM curriculum with educational activities. You will even get the chance to see if you can write with a quill pen, load a cannon the fastest, and witness a live artillery firing!
Whether you are a superintendent, assistant superintendent, curriculum coordinator, director of special education, or a department head, we would love the opportunity to begin a meaningful conversation about how we can partner with you and meet your school’s diverse educational needs.
Take this chance to get out of the office and live some local history with us!

About the BBHC:
Braddock’s Battlefield History Center (BBHC) is located on the original site of the Battle of the Monongahela, also known as Braddock’s Defeat. On July 9, 1755, French and Native American forces defeated British and American troops at the onset of the French and Indian War. Through our museum and educational programs, we explore the fascinating and consequential history of this battle and how it affected not only western Pennsylvania, the French and British colonies, and the indigenous peoples of the area--but also world history
