Many of you know our friend Argile — a familiar face in the local gaming scene, a small business owner, devoted cat dad, and a cornerstone of our community. He’s always been the kind of person who shows up — supporting others and helping foster the kind of welcoming, vibrant space we all cherish.
Right now, Argile is facing an incredibly tough time: sudden vision loss and the closure of his business. We’re rallying around him the way he’s always done for others.

🧩 Puzzle Tournament Rules
Saturday, August 9th – 11:00 AM
Entry: $5 per person (direct donation to Argile's fundraiser)
Location: The Game Shoppe Bellevue
🛠️ Format:
Teams of 4 players. (We can help form teams if needed!)
Each team will receive the A 300-piece puzzle.
The goal is simple: be the first team to complete your puzzle!
🕒 Time Limit:
90 minutes max.
If no team completes the puzzle within 90 minutes, the team with the fewest remaining pieces wins.
🏆 Winning Team:
The first team to complete the puzzle or the team with the fewest pieces remaining at the end of the time limit wins a small prize and bragging rights!
📋 Rules:
Teams may not open the puzzle box until the timer starts.
No outside help, references, or swapping puzzles.
Only hands on the table—no standing or tipping boxes upside down!
Be respectful of your teammates and other teams—it's all for a good cause!
🥗 Point Salad Tournament
Saturday, August 9th – 3:00 PM
Location: The Game Shoppe Bellevue
Entry: $5 (donated to Argile’s fundraiser)
🧑🌾 Format:
Up to 6 players per table.
Three, 20 minute rounds
Wins, then score is the first tie breaker.
🧮 Scoring:
Standard Point Salad rules will apply.
Tiebreakers will be determined by:
Most point cards.
Most vegetables.
Coin flip, if still tied.
🏆 Prizes:
A small prize (VEGGIES) and bragging rights for the final winner!
All entry fees go directly to support Argile’s fundraiser.
Have fun, be kind, and enjoy the crunchy veggie math!

Our very own Becky has bravely (foolishly?) volunteered as tribute!
If we raise $500 in “PIE Becky” donations, she’ll take a pie to the face during Charity Game Day — all in the name of helping Argile.
💵 Drop your donations in the “PIE BECKY” jar at either of The Game Shoppe locations, or add it to your round-up at the register!
🥧Anyone who donates and attends the game day event in Bellevue will get the chance to DELIVER the pie.
