Work Day: Pouring Bases

Hello, friends! We will be having a work day THIS Saturday, starting at 9:30am, to pour some concrete bases for fallen gravestones.

The plan is to pour five, and if we have time there are two others that I’d like to add..but we’ll see.

If you would like to stop by and watch, or help, or just talk about what’s being done, stop on by!

We anticipate a break around lunch time (ish) to go visit the Distant Whistle while the concrete hardens up. 🙂

This is pretty exciting, even if it is just sitting around waiting for concrete to cure, as it’s a big step towards getting these historical monuments back up where they belong!
