Torch Run with Wood County Special Olympics

Join us for an annual Torch Run/Walk as we celebrate Wood County Special Olympics Wildcat athletes, coaches, staff, and families! This is a kick off to the countdown of the 2025 Special Olympics Ohio State Summer Games AND the 2025 Community Festival with Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities!

We will START at Christ's Church and finish at Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD: 1921 E Gypsy Lane Road). You must register to participate in the Torch Run/Walk. Athletes, families, community members, and staff are all welcome to join!

At 5PM, the WCBDD Community Festival will be starting so we welcome you all to stay and enjoy the amazing vendors, outdoor activities, LIVE music and food trucks!

A shuttle will return you to your vehicle at Christ's Church at the conclusion of the Torch Run/Walk should you need one.
