CWMC Registration - Camp Mungai @ Samish 2025

For Youth Entering Grades 3-6

Theme: "Waht's Up?"

We are so excited to invite all campers going into 3rd-6th grade to join us for Camp Mungai at beautiful Samish Island. Our theme this year will be "What's Up?" Do you ever wonder what we miss while we're looking down at our phones or IPads? This week we'll practice looking up, focusing on the beauty of God's creation around us in nature, in each other, and in ourselves. When we ask a friend "What's up?", we'll explore how we can open our eyes and hearts to become more aware of God's gifts in each one of us. We'll enjoy classes, singing around the campfire, and making new friends. The week will be filled with games, crafts, canoeing, a day at the beach and lots of love and laughter. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to sharing this time together.

REGISTRATION FEE: $305 by July 25 / Contact Director about registration after July 25

Cancellations and Refunds: Please notify the Camp Director of your need to cancel as soon as possible. Refunds will be made as follows: • Before Registration Deadline: 100% • On or after Registration Deadline, prior to first day of camp: 2/3 • After first day of camp: No refunds

Special Needs Campers: Parents of special needs campers must contact the Camp Director prior to registration to discuss arrangements for a possible attendant (who must be a registered youth worker). Because we have volunteer staff, the camps are not equipped to provide trained assistants. We want to be inclusive in our camping program, and we also want to provide a safe and secure environment for our campers.

Medications: All medications must be listed on the registration form. Prescribed medications must be in the container dispensed by the Ph*rm*cy, with Ph*rm*cy instructions intact. Over-the-counter medications must be in the original manufacturer's container, labeled with the camper's name and specific instructions. All medications stay with the Camp Nurse in a secure location.

Worth of all Persons: All are welcome at our Youth Camps. There is to be no discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, political affiliations, religious beliefs, race, national origin, and range of human ability. The teachings at our youth camps must reflect Community of Christ Identity, Mission, Message, and Beliefs, as well as Policies and Statements. Our staff seek to provide a safe place for all including the use of preferred names and gender identities.
