Plants and Minds and MacMillan Caring Locally are going “QUACKERS”
Join us for a waddle and a splash with all the family at our “Great Duck Races” on Saturday 26th July in Bournemouth Lower Gardens.
Tickets are only £2 each in this, the equivalent of the Grand National for (toy) Ducks, with prizes of £50, £25 and £10 in each race. (Please note a 60p transaction fee will be added to all online ticket sales). The going will be wet and the ducks will have to negotiate the natural hurdles and obstacles of the Bourne Stream. 4000 highly trained competitive plastic ducks will race, float, paddle or even sink in their pursuit of the major prizes for the owners of their lucky numbers.
Alongside the races, many other prize competitions including "Name That Duck" will be taking place for everyone of all ages to enjoy.
The races start at 10.30am and continue until the last race at 4pm.
