About the event

Unveiling the Dawn of Massive Galaxies
How did the universe's biggest galaxies form so fast after the Big Bang? Why did they stop making stars so early? Join astrophysicist Dr. Wren Suess as she explores groundbreaking discoveries from the James Webb Space Telescope, including the surprising detection of massive, "quiet" galaxies in the early universe.

This talk will also preview upcoming JWST observation and MINERVA, a new CU-led survey mapping distant galaxies in unprecedented detail.
Dr. Suess is an Assistant Professor of Astrophysics at CU Boulder and leads multiple JWST galaxy surveys.
