Lake Metigoshe State Park is excited to host this camp as part of our summer series of Day Camps, which focus on environmental education and outdoor recreational skills. We are thrilled to collaborate with our friends at Camp Metigoshe!
This camp will start at LMSP, but we'll be heading over to Camp Metigoshe (about 6 miles from the park) via passenger van where participants will go through safety procedures with trained facilitators prior to getting on the climbing wall and high ropes course. After lunch, we'll be paddling along the shoreline here at LMSP's School Section Lake. There may also be some time to enjoy the beach at the end of the day.
Snack and picnic lunch will be provided; participants can pack their own lunch, if desired.
Camp will begin and end at LMSP. ND State Park entrance fees apply.
All participants should wear good footwear (no open toes) and longer shorts (board style). Please no crop tops. Bring a water bottle as well as bug spray and sunscreen. Participants will need to provide their own swimwear and towel.
Registration for the summer series of Day Camps opens Thursday, May 1 at noon via
https://bit.ly/LMSPShowClix. The cost is $65/participant per day. To register, purchase $35 ShowClix ticket for each participant and bring an additional $30 that goes to Camp Metigoshe. A separate liability waiver (parent/guardian signature required) for Camp Metigoshe will be sent ahead of camp via email that will due day of camp.
Participants must be the described age at the time of camp. Participants can register for multiple camps within the summer series as different activities are planned for most camps.
Participation is limited so it is highly suggestion to register promptly.
