Lake Metigoshe State Park is excited to host this camp as part of our summer series, which focuses on environmental education and outdoor recreational skills.
This camp will start at 9am and include a variety of hands-on, engaging games and activities that illustrate a variety of ecological concepts, such as the water cycle, pollution, habitats, how animals communicate, predator/prey relationships and more! The day will wrap up with some time at the LMSP swimming beach, which is where participants should be picked up at 2pm. All participants should bring their own swim wear and towels. To maximize their experience campers should bring a water bottle and should wear bug spray and sunscreen. Snacks/lunch will be provided.
This camp starts at 9am; campers should be dropped off at the main office no earlier than 8:45am and picked up at the LMSP beach at 2pm. ND State Park entrance fees apply.
Registration for all of the LMSP day camps opens on Thursday, May 1 at noon via
https://bit.ly/LMSPShowClix. The cost for this camp is $35/participant; participants must be the described age at the time of camp (7 and 8 year olds). Participants can register for multiple camps within the summer series as different activities are planned for most camps.
