Join us for an evening of faith, reflection, and community vocational panel on Saturday May 31, from 7-9pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Hall in Bothell, WA.
This event features speakers including Fr. Celso, Sister Lily, Mr. & Mrs. Romo, and Dr. Serna, offering advice on spiritual and professional discernment. Come for open discussions, Q&A, and a chance to connect with other young adults.
A night to seek purpose and grow in Faith!
Father Celso studied philosophy in Guadalajara and earned a Master of Divinity from St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, California. Ordained in 1998, Fr. Celso has served in parishes across California and Oregon and held leadership roles in priestly formation, including formation director at Mount Angel Seminary and novice master in Long Beach. He currently serves as Vicar at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Bothell, Washington.
Sister Lily is a member of the “Hermanas Misioneras Servidoras de la Palabra.” She professed her first religious vows in October 2021 and is currently in her fourth year of temporary vows. Her mission of the charism of the institute is to Evangelize the laity and formation of the laity, fostering her active role in the mission of the Church.
Jesús and Kianna Romo got married in 2023, and have been absolutely loving the married life. Jesús works with high school students and young adults at a nonprofit organization, and is currently completing his masters degree to become a clinical mental health counselor. Kianna is a theology teacher at Archbishop Murphy High School, and previous to that, worked in youth and young adult parish ministry. She also writes for the Northwest Catholic, which is the official news magazine for the Archdiocese of Seattle. In their free time, Jesus and Kianna love hiking, running, watching movies, and eating ice cream together.
Edith is a dental hygienist and scientific researcher with a graduate background in Microbiology and Biochemistry. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, she is a lay Dominican and has been actively involved in various ministries since childhood. She also hosts a Catholic podcast, where she shares her faith and insights.
