Theater in the Park

Prepare yourself for an incredible show featuring amazing talent, captivating giant puppets, and live theater that will leave you wanting more! We are thrilled to announce the return of String & Shadow Puppet Theater for its third season. This year’s performance is packed with stunning set pieces and exceptional artistry!

▪ Night at the Grand Opera: Set in an old European opera house during the golden age of Grand Opera, "Night at the Grand Opera" is a lively spectacle that unfolds during a candlelit evening at the opera. Rococo extravagance comes to life through elaborate cardboard sets that collapse and unfold, revealing various dramatic events that occur within the opera house—not all of which take place on stage. Converging revolutionary plots, art-loving flies, and disaffected vermin are brought to life using cardboard and papier-mâché.
