FIELD TRIP! Boston Harbor Islands - George's Island

We'll take a brief ferry cruise to George’s Island for a fun half-day of photography at one of the Boston Harbor Islands.

We will ferry from Long Wharf (next to Long Wharf Marriott) at 10:00am (arriving at George’s at 10:45). We will explore the exterior and interior of Fort Warren.

Additionally, we will have time to do some short hiking around the island, see the gravel beach, and a large dock area.

Most walkways are paved. There are nice views of Boston Harbor and the City shoreline while on the ferry ride to/from.

We will depart the island on the 1:00pm return ferry (arriving at Long Wharf at 1:45pm).
