Brunch, BBQ & the Boston Cup: Father’s Day at Matria

The Northern Italian-inspired steakhouse at InterContinental Boston Matria Boston is offering a celebration for car-loving Dads and families ($89 per person; $40 for children under 12) Spend time outdoors with The Boston Cup the Northeast’s premier classic car show and take in the sights and sounds of vintage cars on display near Matria’s terrace and in front of the hotel. The menu features BBQ favorites and several live-action stations including a Build-Your-Own Salad station and classic BBQ staples like hamburgers hotdogs Italian sausages and tuna and salmon skewers. There will also be a raw bar extravaganza complete with shrimp cocktail Wellfleet oysters and shrimp skewers. Signature dish highlights include di Parma eggs benedict two poached cage-free eggs 24-month-aged prosciutto di Parma Parmigiano Reggiano basil hollandaise and straw potatoes; Seafood Orzotto featuring clams mussels shrimp lobster fennel and San Marzano tomatoes; Steak and Egg featuring a 12 oz. Piedmont ribeye over-easy egg fennel slaw and French fries; Those looking for something sweet try the citrus waffle with whipped mascarpone lemon curd and hazelnut chocolate spread. Additional desserts include tiramisu panna cotta summer strawberry mousse and a gelato station. A kid-friendly menu for children under 12 features french fries truffle parmesan chips chicken tenders and mac and cheese. There will also be live music and unlimited non-alcoholic beer.
