Kites for Palestine Beach Day

In 2011 children in Gaza set a world record by flying 12,350 kites.

Over the last 2 years in Melbourne we have been making a paper kite for every child killed. We now have 20,000.

In partnership with our Sydney friends, for the first time we are taking the kites to the beach and we are inviting you to bring your loved ones and kites to help honor the lives lost and to keep their story and dreams alive.

Please feel free to bring a picnic and anything else you need for a great beach day. Let's bring love, community and hope to the sand and skies of Maroubra.
