Meet at MetFix Boise and start the Mogadishu Mile at 0800.
The Mogadishu Mile commemorates the run that a group of Special Operators had to make to get to safety after an 18 hour firefight in Mogadishu, Somalia in October 1993. These events are made famous by the book by Mark Bowden, and the film by Ridley Scott.
We are hosting the Mogadishu Mile to raise funds (Suggested Donation: $20) for the non-profit organization All Secure Foundation, started by Tom Satterly, a former CAG (aka Delta Force) Operator:
"At All Secure Foundation, we believe healing doesn't happen alone, it's a team effort.
We serve the warriors who’ve given everything, and the families who’ve held the line at home also sacrificing body, mind and spirit. Whether on active duty or living life after service, Special Operations warriors and their loved ones often carry the wounds of war: post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and the weight of reintegration.
Our mission is to walk beside warrior families, offering proven tools, deep support, and a safe place to begin again. Through coaching, retreats, and community, we help SOF warrior families rebuild what trauma tried to tear apart: purpose, connection, and the strength to thrive, together."
Route: start at MetFix Boise, go south on Cole, go east on the trail next to the canal, go north on Curtis, go west on Cassia, into the Borah HS track, to finish running 1 lap around the track.
2.4 miles total.
Wear body armor, ruck, etc.

We will have gym member and local community business vendors set up at the gym as part of our Grand Opening.
