Small Garden Planning and Design

Winter is a great time to plan your garden. Learn the basics of crop planning and garden design for a small, three-season garden. We cover basic considerations such as calculating planting dates, direct seeding vs. transplanting, intensive planting, succession planting, and garden layout and design for function and creativity. With a little advance planning, you can harvest from your garden from late April through October.
