Rhythm's Nature spring break day camp gives campers a hands-on, immersive experience with local plant and animal communities. Campers will investigate the edibility, medicinal value, utilitarian (tool use), and even musical instrument potential of various plants. Campers will also deepen their understanding of the relationships between animals and their habitats by studying tracks and clues left behind. There will also be opportunities for campers to learn about fire tending and using fire for cooking. Daily adventures will explore the different ecosystems on the property, including deciduous forests, groundhog burrows, creek beds, and more!
