Poems & Paddle on Griffy Lake

Our first Poems and Paddle event! We are hitting Griffy Lake in Bloomington, IN to launch some poetry on the water.

Griffy Lake has a boat house where you can rent a Kayak, Canoe, or Paddle Board for $10 an hour or you can bring your own non-motorized watercraft and launch it for $10 for the whole day (You must have life vest, if you bring your own boat)

We will meet in the parking lot at 2 PM and get everyone checked in and then paddle out to the lake. There are many alcoves and trails to stop in and read poetry 'round robin' or if the elements allow spouting out words right on the lake. Plan to be on the water for at least an hour.
