Nora's Celebration of Life will be held at the Farm, her childhood home and legacy of the Liell family, in the beautiful central valley of the property. The celebration will begin at 3 pm with socializing and exploring the memorial stations prepared to honor Nora; at 4:30, speakers will share their eulogies, songs and stories, followed by an open microphone, potluck meal, drink, and culminating in a dusktide ceremonial send-off at the pond (worthy of her warrior spirit). Bring your tent and camp overnight with us, as evening brings a bonfire, drumming, and the sort of party Mom would have loved.
Additionally, a Memorial Reception and Talk about Mom's artwork will be held on Friday, Aug 29th, from 5-7 at Juniper Gallery in Bloomington; Juniper will also be hosting a public reception on September 5th for the First Friday Art Walk. Her daughters will not be at Art Walk. We are incredibly grateful to Jaime Sweany and Juniper Gallery for hosting these events!
