Take aim at a new outdoor skill with this free drop-in archery program! Join us to take your first shot or practice your archery skills with our USA Archery certified instructors. No experience necessary and all equipment provided. Recommended ages 8 and up. Meet us at the archery range below the Bloomington Visitor Center building. See accessibility section for more information on the location.

Activity Level: This easy-active program is completely outdoors and requires an approximately .2 mile walk from the parking lot on a paved/natural surface trail with a moderate decline/incline.
What to Bring: Closed-toe shoes and clothing that fits close to the body and allows upper body range of motion are recommended. Please bring outerwear appropriate for the weather, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains are located inside the visitor center. Handicap parking and dropoff available. Visitor center is flat aggregate or carpeted flooring with ramps to access all areas. There are benches and rest areas around the visitor center.
The archery range is located on the Long Meadow Lake Trail near the American Blvd. trail entrance. Park in the visitor center parking lot and follow signs to the range. Distance is approximately .2 miles from the parking lot. Staff will also be present near the signs to direct participants. Path to/from archery range includes a natural surface trail with a moderate decline/incline.
