The home of Stourpaine Bushes Steam Fair!
The White Horse Inn will once again be alive with the sounds, smells and sights of a bygone era.
Take a step back in time and come and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere and the small and mighty Steam Engines, rollers and Showman's engines.
There will be food from The Dorset Food Company, Real Ales, Local Cider and Live Music with Darkhorses, Mother Ukers & Pressgang!
The Engines will arrive at lunchtime on Saturday and what a site it is to see them arrive and maneuver into the car park.
LIVE MUSIC
DARKHORSES our regular Sunday afternoon ukulele band will be playing from 2pm, performing covers, they are full of fun and energy.
MOTHER UKERS In the afternoon fom 4.30pm
They are a Ukulele band performing covers and original material using ukuleles of all shapes and sizes, they will take you on a musical journey through time and space. Mixing up sounds captured in the minds of mortals from over a hundred years to create their unique ‘Ukular Fusion’. With songs & flavours of Modern pop, Punk, Classic rock, the Swinging 60s, Fabulous 50s blended together and marinated with the sound and rhythms of the roaring 20s and seasoned with a touch of the blues in a swamp grass melody.
The Mother Ukers unleash the power of their humble little four string ukes and guarantee to tickle your ears, kiss your soul & get them feet a tapping!
PRESSGANG from 8.30pm
Local band PRESSGANG will be playing a mix of Ska, Funk and Rock Classics, they will have you jigging and dancing all night and will be showcasing some of the baggiest trousers in town!
We will be raising money for The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
There will be a raffle, including a childs JCB pedal tractor with trailer and front loader worth £140.00, £100 cash, Drum of oil from Ford Oils, Tools from Blandford Tools, Vouchers for The White Horse Inn and more
