We’ll be hosting a Fundraiser Night this Saturday, August 2nd, starting at 4pm at Hotel Henry in honor of the Zunker family.
Chef Grayson Elrod — a Blanco native who’s spent the last decade in Austin’s food scene — will be serving a special menu:
• Taco Bar
• Grilled Chile Colorado Chicken
• Smoked Mushroom en Cruda
• Potasina Mexican Rice
• Belly Fat Refried Beans
• OG Caesar Salad
Plates will be $15, and a portion of the food and bar sales will benefit the Zunker Foundation.
As many of you know, our family suffered an unimaginable loss over the Fourth of July. My husband’s cousin, Reece Zunker, his wife Paula, and their two children Lyle and Holland tragically lost their lives in the flood.
Many of you have asked how you can help — and this fundraiser is one meaningful way to do so.
The Zunker Foundation was created to continue Reece and Paula’s legacy — to support the causes they loved, especially those close to home in the Kerrville area.
