About the event

Lunch and Learn: Conserving Virginia's Extraordinary Invertebrate Heritage
Virginia is home to a marvelous diversity of invertebrate animals, from burrowing cliff-clinging snails to unique cave-dwelling isopods. Despite 400 years of study, it continues to surprise naturalists with new species. Yet this diversity is imperiled. Learn what the Virginia Institute for Invertebrates is doing about it, and what you can do to help.

Our speaker will be Dr. Ben Jantzen, President, Virginia Institute for Invertebrates, Ltd.
