Transformational Breathwork and Sound Bath

Spiritus Breathwork is a form of conscious connected breathing that allows us to enter into an altered state of consciousness. Here we can connect into deeper layers of our being to regulate our nervous system and release any patterns of trauma in the body that have been stored deep in the tissues.

The breathwork is used to bring about somatic release, bringing balance into the mind, body and spirit. We work to release unconscious thought patterning, stored emotions and tension from the body. As we breathe in a conscious connected way we bring activation into our nervous system, stirring up any cycles of activation that have been held within the body, and we allow these emotions to move through us as we regulate our body with our breath.

What to expect:

After a brief introduction, I will lead you through a guided practice of activating breathwork for approximately 50 mins. Energy and body work may be used to assist you in your process of breathing and release stored tension and emotions. People can experience various levels of emotional release, and well as gentle shaking and tremoring as the body releases what it is ready to let go of, while others may have transcendental and mystical experiences. Trust that you will receive what you need from the session.

After this period of activating breathwork, we will slow down the tempo and enter into an integration phase with a sound meditation with crystal bowls and an extended gong bath. There will be time for journalling at the end to record any insights and messages received during the session, as the breathwork can help us become clear around areas in our life that we may be experiencings challenges, or need to make changes.

IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION

Safety is of utmost importance for SPIRITUS. Due to the nature of this work, the deep processes and breathwork there are certain contraindications that will stop you from being able to attend.

These are:

High blood pressure

Diagnosed Severe PTSD

Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis)

Currently taking heavy Medic*tion that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic)

Detached Retina

Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries

Epilepsy

History or diagnosis of aneurysms

Cardiovascular problems

History of seizures

Severe Asthma

Heart disease

Heart conditions

Diabetes

Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, spiritual emergence within the past 3 years

Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.
